Join us at Kedron Valley Inn for a three-part series on honesty, kindness and overcoming fear.
The speaker, Thay Chan Hue, has been a buddhist monk for 26 years. He practiced for 6 years in a Vietnamese Zen monastery under Thich Nhat Hanh, before studying in the Thai Forest tradition.
He now lives a more solitary life here in South Woodstock Vermont.
The buddhist teachings are meant to be simple, effective tools for understanding human experience, overcoming stress and suffering, and experiencing well-being and happiness. The teachings in this series will not be philosophical or religious but practical and useful. There will be time for questions and answers after or during the talks to address both the subject of the talks themselves and any personal questions one may have. If there is sufficient interest after the talks, there will be a weekly meditation course to follow.
There is no charge for the teachings, they are given freely. The series will take place in the ballroom space on the second floor the Kedron Valley main building.
